About us

Who we are

Christs Powerhouse International Ministries (CPI) focus is to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost. We are called to preach the uncompromising truth of Jesus Christ as well as take care of the less fortunate. We are ordinary people who love people because God loves people. We love to see people encounter the true, uncompromised Gospel that has the power to save, set free, heal, empower and equip for every good work. Our mission is to prepare the Lord's people for his swift return.

what we believe

The Trinity

We believe that there is only one God who manifests in three persons namely: (1 Peter 1, 1-2)

God the Father - The creator and sustainer of the universe

God the Son - Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was there before the foundations of the earth and came to earth through the virgin Mary and became both God and Man - in one person.

God the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is God, who in his nature as God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and eternal. The Holy Spirit gives different gifts as he wills. (1st Corinthians ch 12)

Scripture

We attest that all scripture was/is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible word of God. It cannot be added, altered or subtracted.  It is the final authority in all matters and contains everything needed for Godly living. (2nd Timothy 3 vs 16 - 17)

Atonement

Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave on the third day. His death paid the ultimate penalty for the sins of the whole world but in order for one to benefit, one has to willingly accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior. (1 John 2 vs 2)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God received by faith. Salvation is activated by personal repentance, believing in and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior which results in the adoption of the person into the kingdom of God. Salvation is an act of free will. (Romans 10 vs 9 - 10)

"As Christians, we ought to strive to be rich in good works. Let us be exemplary in our conduct as those who have received the grace of God. In all sincerity, let us love one another as Christ has loved us."

- Dzidzai Chimbari
